Driver escape injuries after lorry crashes into roadside

BINTANGOR: A driver escaped unscathed after his lorry skidded and crashed into the roadside along near Kampung Sungai Padi, Jalan Kelukut this morning.

The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said they received a distress call at 3.26 am and deployed personnel from Bintangor station to the scene, about 10km away.

Upon arrival, they found the lorry overturned to its side and the 41-year-old man had exited the vehicle on his own.

The team checked to ensure that the driver was safe before ensuring the situation was safe for other road users.

The operation ended at 3.37 am.
