Donation brings joy to Desa Wira families for Chinese New Year

KUCHING: Embracing the spirit of giving and sharing, the Malaysian Red Crescent SJK Chung Hua No. 5 recently organised a meaningful community service event.

Held in conjunction with the coming Chinese New Year, this successful initiative aimed to bring cheer and relief to 16 selected underprivileged families from Desa Wira.

This meaningful activity highlights the importance of showing kindness and compassion to families during the festive season.

According to the press statement issued by SJK Chung Hua No. 5, Malaysian Red Crescent Stampin Branch chairman Chew Kim Soon and co-curriculum senior assistant Vun Huey Ni handed out goodie bags filled with daily necessities, festive treats, and other essential items to the selected families.

The smiles and expressions of gratitude from the recipients clearly demonstrated the positive impact of the initiative.

Families expressed their heartfelt thanks for the support, which came at a time when it was most needed.

The success of this event was made possible through the generous contributions of the public and corporate sponsors Pau Sarawak and Oromeo Marketing.
