KUCHING: Four lucky punters have shared a RM121 million jackpot in the Sports Toto Supreme 6/58, the highest-ever jackpot in Malaysia’s history.
In a Facebook post, Sports Toto Malaysia confirmed that the jackpot was won during last night’s draw.
The company said three punters had won almost RM34.92 million each, while one person took home RM16.96 million.
“Congratulations to our Supreme Jackpot winners,” it said in the post.
The winning tickets were brought through the Standard Play, System Play 11, System Play 12, and EZ-bet options.
Prior to the draw, long queues were spotted at Sports Toto outlets nationwide as both first-time and regular punters tried their luck.
Earlier, it was reported that Sports Toto Berhad chief executive officer Nerine Tan said the previous record jackpot was RM97.75 million in 2022.
The lucky winners were from Penang and Selangor.
She also said the high jackpot had contributed to a surge in lottery ticket sales.
