KUCHING: Sarawak Skills has donated a haemodialysis machine to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) in conjunction with the celebration of its 30th Anniversary Charity Run.

The donation aims to help meet the rising demand for dialysis services and provide life-saving treatment to patients in the region.

Sarawak Skills executive director Hallman Sabri expressed his pride in participating in the initiative as it is an important part of Sarawak Skills’ ongoing commitment to give back to the community.

“We are indeed honoured to participate in this noble and timely initiative to serve the community, especially considering the rising number of patients who rely on haemodialysis for their treatment.

“Sarawak Skills remains committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of the community and hopes that this contribution will go a long way towards assisting those in need,” he said on Wednesday (Jan 15).

Besides, with the growing number of patients in need of dialysis, this donation is expected to significantly enhance the hospital’s capabilities in providing vital healthcare services.
