Top scorers with the management of SJIS Pre-U Department

KUCHING: St Joseph’s International School (SJIS), Kuching, is celebrating the outstanding achievements of its students in the Cambridge A-Level November 2024 exam series, with numerous students securing top grades and demonstrating academic excellence.

Ten per cent of students scored A* grades while 20 per cent scored straight As across all subjects.

In specific subjects, there was a good performance in Biology with 50 per cent of the students scoring As or better; Information Technology (IT) did exceptionally well with 66 per cent reaching that standard.

There were equally excellent results across the board for Mathematics at 40 per cent, Physics at 38 per cent and Chemistry at 25 per cent.

St Joseph’s Private Schools CEO Christopher Chua expressed pride in the students’ achievements, highlighting their dedication and reaffirming the school’s commitment to pursuing continued excellence.

Meanwhile, SJIS principal Br Robert Teoh FMS said the excellent results speak of the hard work and commitment of the students, backed by the school’s focus on quality education.

“These accomplishments reinforce our mission to provide a quality education and nurture the talents of every student.”
