BINTULU: The Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) N68 Tanjong Batu in collaboration with Zong Ho Bintulu Friendship Association has donated several fan units to the Bintulu hospital in an effort to improve the comfort of patients and staff at the hospital.
The donation was presented by deputy chief of Sarawak PDP Youth, Yiak Chiong Wei, to the director of Bintulu Hospital, Dr Suzalinna Sulaiman, along with representatives of the Bintulu Hospital Board of Visitors who were present to receive it on behalf of the hospital.
According to Yiak, this initiative is part of PDP N68 Tanjong Batu’s commitment to support efforts to improve facilities at the hospital for the welfare of patients and health workers.
“We hope this donation can provide additional comfort to everyone at Bintulu Hospital, whether patients or hospital staff,” he said.
Meanwhile, Dr Suzalinna expressed appreciation for the donation, which is seen as a noble effort in supporting public health services.
