PULAU BRUIT: Digital connectivity is not just about internet access but also about how communities, especially youth, can leverage it to enhance living standards, economic opportunities, and employment prospects.
In recognising this Azam Sarawak participated in a Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC) organised exhibition in conjunction with the MySRBN launch here.
“Our participation in this event reflects our commitment to support Sarawak’s digital economy goals, particularly for rural areas,” said its Strategic Communications, Media and Youth Relations Manager, Hassnal Hakim Junaidi
“Through the involvement of youth via the Azam Young Souls (AYS) or Kelab Beha Azam Bandar Kuching, we share skills and engaging experiences through interactive games and digital knowledge-sharing.
“This is our effort to spark youth interest in digital technology and demonstrate how technology can drive development in rural areas.”
Through initiatives like this, Azam acts as a bridge between technology and communities to ensure no one is left behind in the wave of progress, he added.
At the exhibition, Azam Sarawak also featured programmes related to digital literacy and youth development, emphasising the importance of participatory communication in community development.
