MBKS prepares 160 stalls for Stutong Ramadan Bazaar 2025

KUCHING: The Kuching South City Council (MBKS) has prepared 160 stalls across four categories of food sales for the MBKS Stutong Ramadan Bazaar 2025.

MBKS mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng said the council is prepared earlier this time, confirming that sales at the bazaar will commence on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

A total of 54 stalls have been allocated for cooked food, followed by 54 stalls for snacks, 24 for beverages and 22 for grilled food.

“For those interested, please obtain the application forms at the one-stop service counter, Counter 9 in the MBKS lobby, starting Monday, Jan 13.

“All completed forms must be submitted by 4pm on Jan 24, 2025, which is before Chinese New Year.

“This means you have about two weeks to complete the application, and as usual, late submissions will not be entertained,” Wee stressed.

He said this during the MBKS Ramadan Bazaar @ Stutong 2025 press conference at the MBKS Building today (Jan 10).

Regarding the application forms, Wee also stressed that they must be submitted completely, adhering to the terms and conditions stated in the forms.

“In the forms, you need to include a passport-sized photo, a copy of your identification card, a copy of the food handling course certificate, and a health examination report along with vaccination records.

“In addition, a copy of the marriage certificate is required. The marriage certificate is necessary to prevent both the husband and wife from applying separately.”

He added that applicants must pay a stall rental fee of RM250, with a deposit of RM100 in advance.
