MIRI: The new Subis District Office is expected to be completed by February 2025, offering expanded administrative space for the district.
Health Deputy Minister Datuk Lukanisman Awang Sauni expressed optimism that the development will significantly improve public services for the people of Subis.
He acknowledged the ongoing challenges in infrastructure development in the district, with many areas still in need of further improvements.
“I am optimistic that the 13th Malaysia Plan will bring more development and better facilities for the people of Subis, addressing the pressing needs of the district,” he said in a Facebook post.
The RM5.9 million project, located in Kampung Rambai across the Sibuti River from Bekenu town, is part of a larger initiative to improve administrative infrastructure in the region.
This effort is complemented by three other community projects, totalling RM11.68 million, including the RM2.5 million Dewan Masyarakat Subis, the RM4.18 million Kampung Bulau bridge, and the RM5 million Kampung Rambai Waterfront project.
