KUCHING: Sharp Electronics Malaysia Sdn Bhd (SHARP) commemorates its 40th anniversary in Malaysia with the launch of the Sharp 40 Live Mighty campaign and Double Sincerity Service Upgrade programme. 

In a statement, it said that these initiatives highlight SHARP’s commitment to enriching Malaysian lives through advanced Japanese technology and exceptional service standards.

“Since its establishment in 1985, SHARP has maintained its position as an innovation leader, delivering products and solutions that enhance daily living. 

“This milestone not only celebrates SHARP’s achievements but also marks the beginning of a new mission to empower Malaysians as they confidently approach 2025,” it said.

SHARP Malaysia Managing Director Ting Yang Chung said that in a pioneering move, SHARP became the first home appliance brand to introduce a 7-Day Service Completion Assurance programme, ensuring swift and reliable after-sales service nationwide. 

This innovative service, he explained, aimed to set new industry standards and enhance customer experience. 

Additionally, he said, customers who purchase any INVERTER series products or the 120Hz AQUOS XLED TRU series from now until Dec 31, 2025, will receive an extended one-year warranty upon online registration.

Moreover, Malaysia’s top women’s doubles badminton pair, Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan, have been appointed as ambassadors for the Sharp 40 Live Mighty campaign. 

Known for their resilience and outstanding achievements, Ting said that the duo perfectly embodies SHARP’s advocacy.

“Pearly and Thinaah demonstrate what it means to 

‘Live Mighty’ both on and off the court through their relentless pursuit of excellence and ability to inspire others. 

“Through this partnership, we hope to inspire Malaysians to face daily challenges with confidence and create their own extraordinary lives,” he said.
