KUCHING: The ‘Let There Be’ Christmas Charity Concert at St. Joseph’s Cathedral on Dec 13 drew an audience of 500, all united in wanting to give back to those in need.

The concert held special meaning, as it went beyond the joy of celebrating Christmas.

All proceeds from the event were donated to three remarkable providing hospice care here, namely, 23 Lodge Hospice, the National Cancer Society of Malaysia Sarawak Branch, and the Life Care Association.

Kuching Choral Society chairman Benedict JC Lo, expressed immense gratitude for the opportunity to come together and celebrate through music.

“By God’s grace, we were able to contribute to the needs of others, celebrate the gift of life, and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas — hope, love, and giving,” he said.

The concert, now in its third edition since before the pandemic, would not have been possible without the dedication of the Concert Committee and Coordinating Team.Lo also extend
