PETALING JAYA: Twelve media practitioners from Sarawak and Sabah hit the road today in an exciting two-hour convoy from Petaling Jaya to Ipoh as part of the Ford East Malaysia Media Drive.

Sarawak’s representatives include media outlets such as Sarawak Tribune, Suara Sarawak, The Borneo Post, Utusan Sarawak, and I Love Borneo. Sabah’s contingent features Asia Times, Daily Express, Sabah Media, Sabah News Today, and KOL.

The journey, organised by Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford (SDAC-Ford), kicked off at the Ford Ara Damansara showroom with a flag-off ceremony led by SDAC-Ford managing director Turse Zuhair at 10.30 am.

Participants are set to experience the versatility and performance of six Ford Ranger variants, including the powerful Raptor 3.0 and 2.0, the sleek Wildtrak, XLT+SE, Everest Sport, and XLT.

Each vehicle boasts an array of cutting-edge features and driving modes, promising a dynamic experience on the open road.

Before hitting the highway, Lead Driver Adian briefed the group on vehicle operations and essential road safety measures, setting the stage for a thrilling and well-prepared adventure.
