MASA and MyREF CT forge collaboration for leadership and management initiatives

KUCHING: The Institute of Management Sarawak (MASA) has signed a Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) with MyREF Consultancy and Training PLT (MyREF CT).

Under the MoC, MASA, a non-profit organisation based in Sarawak, and MyREF CT, a company wholly owned by the Malaysian Research & Education Foundation (MyREF), have agreed to collaborate on initiatives aimed at developing training programmes, seminars, summits, and similar events.

“These activities will focus on key areas, including leadership, management, science, technology and engineering.

“Both parties will also undertake a collaborative initiative to establish a leadership institute dedicated primarily to the fields of leadership and management as well as activities or initiatives related to, but not limited to, leadership, management, science, technology, engineering and social
sciences.

“The first collaborative initiative by MyREF and MASA will be the organising of the Contemporary Leadership International Summit 2025 (CLIS 2025) which will be held in Kuching in mid-February next year,” according to a press release, Tuesday (Dec 3).

The MoC, which aims to promote sustainable communities and nations, was signed at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) by MyREF CT chief executive officer (CEO) Mohd Khairuddin Rais and MASA general manager Dr Krishnan Murali.

Present to witness the signing were MyREF chairman Emeritus Prof Datuk Abang Abdullah Abang Ali and MASA board director Ahmad Zaiwin Mohd Kassim.
