KUCHING: i-CATS University College recently hosted two groups of visitors: 45 members of the Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) of SK Selepong, Sri Aman, and 35 Year Six students and 7 teachers from SK Abang Haji Matahir, Sarikei.
The PTA delegation, led by SK Selepong Principal Sidai Kilau, aimed to gather information about i-CATS’ courses, facilities and learning environment to share with parents and the local community.
A briefing session and campus tour were conducted, with Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) Professor Dr Philip Nuli Anding and Chief Operating Officer Lt. Col. (B) Mohd Melintang Abdullah answering questions.
The visitors also received a copy of Lt. Col. (B) Mohd Melintang Abdullah’s book, Laskar Berani: Memoir Anak Borneo Pengibar Panji PBB.
The Year Six students from SK Abang Haji Matahir, led by Assistant Head of Co-Curriculum Hamzah Mohamad Endai, were given a campus tour and a hands-on experience at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality.
Hamzah expressed confidence that this early exposure would inspire the students to work hard towards their future goals.
