KUCHING: Telang Usan assemblyman Datuk Dennis Ngau has proposed a new alignment for the Long Lama to Long Panai road.

The suggestion was made when Dennis led a delegation from Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Telang Usan, comprising leaders from its Women and Youth Wings, to a courtesy call on Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas yesterday.

The suggested route aims to serve a larger population by passing through Sungai Apoh and Tutoh areas, including key settlements such as Long Bemang, Long Tujang, Long Buang, Long Watt, Long Atip, Long Win, Long Bangan, the Long Bedian sub-district, and surrounding villages.

It was noted that Uggah responded positively to the proposal, signaling his receptiveness to exploring the new road alignment to benefit these rural communities.

The visit also served as an opportunity for the delegation to express their gratitude to the Deputy Premier for his unwavering efforts in bringing infrastructure development to Telang Usan.
