GEDONG: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Youth’s Armada Tour Programme will take place in 18 zones across Sarawak starting next year, in preparation for the 2027 state election.
PBB Youth chief Miro Simuh described the programme as a key platform for energising initiatives by the Youth wing.
“For the next programme, we plan to hold it in Betong on January 25, 2025, for our counterparts there. This is our plan,” he said during the PBB Youth Assembly at Datuk Patinggi Ali Hall today (Nov 10).
Miro added that the programme will eventually cover all of Sarawak, with each zone visited expected to build significant momentum ahead of the state election.
He also expressed gratitude to Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg for appointing PBB Youth assistant treasurer Afiq Fikri Brahim as Political Secretary to the Premier.
In addition, Miro hoped PBB Youth exco members at both state and division levels will be considered for roles in Government-Linked Companies (GLCs).
“Such appointments would allow the youth to contribute ideas and efforts toward the development of the state,” he said.
