MIRI: A local man succumbed to severe injuries sustained in an accident along Jalan Kuala Baram Bypass, here yesterday (Nov 7).
Miri police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu said the 55-year-old Perodua Axia driver died while receiving treatment at the Tudan Health Clinic.
“The victim, who was driving to work at Shin Yang Shipyard, lost control of the vehicle and skidded into the bushes near the road.
“The accident caused damage to the front part of the victim’s vehicle,” he said in a statement today.
The case is being investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
