MUKAH: Sarawak women’s footballers are focused on winning their Group A match against Pahang tomorrow (Aug 16).

Head coach Sufian Ibrahim said tomorrow’s game marks the start of his team’s mission, with a clear focus on defeating Pahang.

“Our focus is to ensure we can achieve victory. If we win, it will ensure us qualification into the semifinals,” Sufian told Sarawak Tribune.

Sufian acknowledged that his players are fully prepared and ready to face their opponents.

The first match in Group A between Pahang and Sabah ended in a 1-1 draw yesterday afternoon.

The women’s football team will be raring to go to secure three points when facing Pahang at the Sarawak State Stadium in Petra Jaya at 4.15 pm.
