KUCHING: The number of flood victims stationed at four evacuation centres in Kuching was still 133 people from 32 families as at 8am today.
The State Disaster Management Committee secretariat said in a statement here that 32 victims from nine families were placed at Dewan Sinaran Kampung Sungai Lumut while 27 victims from five families were taking shelter at the Surau Ar Rahman at Kampung Sungai Batu.
In Lundu district, 42 victims from 11 families have been placed at the community hall in Kampung Paon while 32 more from seven families were housed at the SK Sebat evacuation centre in Sematan, Lundu. – Bernama
