KUCHING: The Kuching-China Trader, Importer and Exporter Association (KCTIEA) has reaffirmed its strong support for the Malaysian government’s One China Policy.

Its chairman Datuk Yii Ming Tang said that the China had achieved advancements through its reform and opening-up policies.

“Over a decade, the ‘Belt and Road’ initiative, spearheaded by Chinese President Xi Jinping, has garnered substantial success and global recognition,” he said during a speech at an exchange dinner with the World Youth Business Economic and Cultural Exchange Centre’s visiting delegation on Thursday night.

Business organisations of all sizes must actively engage in this economic and cultural development.
“Opportunities like these are rare and will not recur,” he added.

He also highlighted that the association’s members span a diverse array of industries, providing ample opportunities for collaboration and mutual support.

Furthermore, Yii welcomed the delegates, encouraging another visit to the capital city that could enhance business prospects for the association’s members.
