SHAH ALAM: Carlsberg Smooth Draught’s Carls Harvest Pesta, part of the ‘Raikan Kebanggaan Sabah & Sarawak’ campaign, is back for its fourth year from May 22 to 25 at the Farley Kuching shopping mall, here.
Calsberg said this year’s campaign, running through Gawai and Kaamatan, continues the mission of “promoting local culture” through the ‘By Local, For Local’ initiative.
“We believe celebrations are best with Carlsberg Smooth Draught. This Gawai and Kaamatan, we toast to the stunning culture and community spirit of Sabah and Sarawak.
“In addition to the local artist packaging relaunch, the campaign includes an immersive event in Kuching and sponsorship of several local festivals,” said Carlsberg Malaysia managing director Olga Pulyaeva in a press statement.
Carlsberg Smooth Draught is collaborating again with local tattoo artists Ernesto Kalum and Carlos Benny to relaunch the artist-edition packaging.
The cans and bottles feature iconic Bornean images like the Hornbill, Orangutan, traditional Longhouse, classical Sape, Rafflesia, and Mount Kota Kinabalu. These designs also appear in a collectible six-coaster gift set that creates a mural when assembled.
Consumers in Sabah and Sarawak can also win gadgets such as an iPhone 15 Pro, iPad Air, or Apple Watch Series 9 with purchases of Carlsberg Danish Pilsner or Carlsberg Smooth Draught. Exclusive artist-edition coasters are available with purchases at participating outlets, while stocks last.
The event will feature local delicacies, music, dance, crafts, and art, celebrating Sarawak’s culture. Guests can enjoy performances, interactive workshops, and unique local treats, highlighting Sabah and Sarawak’s heritage and natural wonders.
