The State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre said it received a distress call about the accident at 2.25pm today (Apr 12) and promptly dispatched firefighters from the Selangau fire station to the scene.

“The accident involved 11 victims, with seven rescued by members of the public.

“Meanwhile, three were still trapped in the vehicle and were extricated by firefighters later,” Bomba said.
