KOTA SAMARAHAN: Police are on the hunt for a group of masked burglary suspects, following sightings of them in Stakan Perdana recently.

Kota Samarahan police chief DSP Jaimi Husin said they have received reports from the public regarding the incident.

“We have instructed our team to launch an operation to arrest the suspects.

“Efforts are underway to locate this group of men,” he said in a press conference at the Kota Samarahan district police headquarters (IPD) today (Apr 9).

Last Sunday, a 21-second video clip of the sighting of the group went viral on the Facebook page of Sarawak Roads Update.

In their post, they urged the police to take action, stating that the group of masked men had been seen roaming in Lorong Stakan Perdana 2E3, Stakan Perdana, and are suspected of attempting to break into residences.

It is said that the group has appeared twice at the location.
