MATU: An initiative promoting health will be held at Kampung Kuala Hilir Matu on Jan 20.
It is jointly organised by the village’s Internet Centre in collaboration with Saberkas Jemoreng, Kuala Matu Health Clinic, Kawasan Rukun Tetangga (KRT) Kpg Hilir Kuala Matu, Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia (AIM) Kpg Kuala Matu, Komuniti Sihat Perkasa Negara (Kospen) Kuala Matu and Community Development Department (Kemas).
Dubbed “Program Jom Sihat Bersama Pusat Internet Kpg Kuala Hilir Matu 2019” (loosely translated as “Let’s be healthy together with Kpg Kuala Hilir Internet Centre 2019”, the initiative to be held in the compound of the internet centre is scheduled to start at 7am.
Among the activities are mass aerobic exercises, the 10,000-step programme, a health examination, healthy cooking, My place, My community, MyShop, mass teeth brushing, karaoke, zumba and poco-poco dances and lucky draws.
Political Secretary to the Chief Minister (and Saberkas Jemoreng chairman), Abu Seman Jahwie, is expected to officiate at the programme’s opening ceremony.
Residents in the area and beyond are invited to come in full force to support and participate in the programme.
