DALAT: Everyone must come together to help traders operating at BazarNita Fatima (BNF) make a decent living.

Dalat assemblywoman Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah said in particular women who are heads of households deserve support in their effort to raise the household income.

“It is a noble effort which calls for everyone’s backing,” she said.

Fatimah who is Minister of Women, Children and Community Well-being Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah was speaking at the soft opening of Bazaar Corner, at BNF, here, today.

At the same time, she said, a special corner at BNF will be used as a location for monthly activities for residents around Dalat.

“This includes reading activities for children and parents, weaving for elderly people and so on.

 “We give opportunities to residents of various ages here to do activities according to their respective interests.”

Earlier, a colouring competition for various age groups was also held to enliven the event.

Also present were District Council Secretary Abdul Razak Awang Bini and the Dalat BNF Facilities Management and Maintenance Committee.
