SIMUNJAN: The Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Women Supreme Council is engaging local communities through the ‘Sarawak Kita Empun’ (SKE) programme.

Vice-chief III Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali said the programme’s goal is to directly connect with women in areas under PBB leadership, fostering a closer relationship with grassroots communities.

Speaking at the SKE 2.0 PBB Branches Exploration here on Tuesday (Feb 27), she highlighted the crucial role of women in PBB’s efforts and the state’s development.

She urged members to be more active and attentive to community needs to ensure the party’s continued relevance.

“Our primary goal is to engage with the community in Simunjan, aiming to extend this initiative to all PBB branches throughout Sarawak whenever feasible.”

Apart from community engagement, Sharifah Hasidah, who also serves as the Sarawak de facto law minister, mentioned that the programme aims to clarify Sarawak government policies and the direction of Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) and PBB leadership.
