SIBU: Pustaka Negeri Sarawak (PNS) Sibu will be holding a Fertigation Workshop on Sour Eggplant Planting and Foliar Fertilizer Making in conjunction with the Makersmeet X Borneo Makers Festival 2023 programme on Oct 21.
According to PNS Sibu in a press statement today (Oct 15), the workshop would will take place at its Multipurpose room from 9 am to 4 pm.
The workshop is to give the public the opportunity to learn how to grow pickled eggplant using the fertigation method, in addition to learning to make their own fertiliser and generate income through the crops.
“This participation is open to the public (adults) and is limited to 30 participants. Registration is free. The registration form and information about this workshop can be found through the QR code that has been provided in the poster,” it said.
Meanwhile, PNS Sibu will hold another workshop on making Buriek Cloth at its seminar room on Oct 22, from 10 am to 4 pm.
This workshop is being held to give people the opportunity to learn the art of sewing Buriek clothes from Paulina Geruma of Paulina Legacy Tailor.
Participation is open to the public (adults) free of charge and is limited to 30 participants. The registration form and information about the workshop can be found through the QR code that has been provided in the poster.
The closing date for participation for both workshops is Oct 19.
