BINTULU: Putra Biru won the 2023 Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Staff Sports Championship (SUSTAF) at the UPM Bintulu Sarawak Campus level.
Putra Kuning and Putra Merah finished second and third, respectively, while Putra Hijau took fourth place.
A total of 21 events were contested during the tournament which took place from Sept 1 to 30.
UPM Bintulu Campus director Professor Dr Shahrul Razid Sarbini said the UPM Bintulu Campus SUSTAF Championship is one of the platforms to promote sportsmanship and build strong ties among staff while also encouraging the adoption of a healthy lifestyle and promotes unity among staff from diverse backgrounds.
He hoped that such activities would provide staff with opportunities for leisure and encourage the adoption of a healthy lifestyle.
