PUTRAJAYA: The one-off rebate on postpaid mobile phone bills for September, for media practitioners, is limited to the monthly commitment charges, according to the Department of Information (JaPen).

JaPen said in a statement that the incentive under the Rahmah Rebate for Media Practitioners is offered to Malaysian media practitioners who hold the department’s media accreditation card.

Eligible individuals must update their post-paid phone number and other relevant details by logging in JaPen e-Media system at https://emedia.penerangan.gov.my/ before or on Sept 10 to enjoy the incentive.

“Media practitioners are advised to check the expiry date or validity period of their media accreditation card to receive the rebate,” read the statement.

JaPen said that the rebate is also subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant telecommunication operators namely TM (Unifi Mobile), CelcomDigi, Maxis, U Mobile and  YTL Communications.

More information on the incentive can be obtained through the FAQ section at https://www.kkd.gov.my/awam/faq, it added.
