BELAGA: Belaga is experiencing rapid developments thanks to the efforts of leaders who are focused on meeting the needs of the community.
Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Law, Malaysia Agreement 1963 and State-Federal Relations) Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali said that the leaders have introduced various facilities such as improved telecommunication access and better riverbank infrastructure.
One of the significant changes includes the development of Belaga Waterfront.
Sharifah said this when speaking at the 2023 Belaga Regatta Ratu Kebaya and Datun Julut Competition Ceremony here recently.
Additionally, the people of Belaga are fortunate to have elected representatives who are working to bring 5G access to the area.
She added there are also plans for a Belaga City Town Square in the future, which will benefit the residents and contribute to the overall progress of the town.
