PARIS: In southern France, two people had to be hospitalised when they suffered heart attacks in an incident at an aquatic theme park, reported German news agency (dpa). 

A man and a three-year-old girl were on a large inflatable structure that was picked up by the wind and blown away, the local fire brigade said on Sunday.

Rescuers resuscitated the girl and the 35-year-old man, and both were taken by helicopter to a hospital in Marseille.

The incident happened at a water park in Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, east of Marseille.

The park advertises numerous inflatable play elements, including slides. According to the French news portal France Info, the 20-m long inflatable structure was airborne for about 50 m. – BERNAMA-dpa
