KUCHING: The Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) is appealing to the public for help in locating the family members or next of kin of Gan Kok Hiong, a Chinese male patient.

Gan, 47, came to the attention of authorities due to a disturbance in Bau, leading to his initial admission to Bau Hospital. Subsequently, he was transferred to the Emergency and Trauma Department (ETD) at SGH for further evaluation and treatment.

The hospital is urgently seeking contact with Gan’s family or next of kin, as their involvement is crucial in making important medical decisions and providing emotional support during this time.

Gan’s last known address, according to the SMRP SGH system, is No. 24-B, Ground Floor, Lorong Foochow, 96000 Sibu.

To ensure the best possible care and the patient’s wellbeing, SGH urges anyone with information about Gan or his next of kin to urgently contact the ETD in the Yellow Zone of SGH. Dr Shanker, available at the GY Zone of ETD, can also be reached at 082-276 666, extension 3813.
