MIRI: A total of 68 participants from 12 Sarawak United National Youth Organisation (SABERKAS) branches in the northern region participated in an agricultural fertigation course on chili held in conjunction with its golden jubilee celebration.
The one-day course was held at the Bekenu Community Hall yesterday.
These 12 Saberkas branches were Bekenu, Kakus, Belaga, Pujut, Samalaju, Ba’kelalan, Marudi, Lambir, Senadin, Tanjung Batu, Murum and Bukit Sari.
The closing of the programme was officiated by Subis District officer Norlila Ulis, who represented SABERKAS Sarawak president Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah and SABERKAS Bekenu advisor Datuk Rosey Yunus cum Bekenu assemblywoman.
The fertigation course was conducted by Micheal Entalai from i-CATS University College, Kuching.
