BARAM: The two bridges that are being built in Ulu Baram here will ease the needs of residents living nearby once they are completed soon.

The first bridge is to cross the Sungai Moh and the second bridge is to cross the Sungai Baram at Long Moh and Long Selaan.

In the meantime, the road to Long Moh and Long Selaan is currently under repair phase and is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

These projects are managed by the Highland Development Agency (HDA), an agency under the Regional Corridor Development Authority (RECODA) which is responsible for implementing road, bridge and clean water supply projects covering an area of 18,463 square kilometres in Telang Usan and Mulu.

Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas was present to officiate at the Sungai Moh Bridge together with Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Labour, Immigration and Project Monitoring) Datuk Gerawat Gala, recently.
