MIRI: Nine houses in Kampung Wireless at Jalan Permaisuri here was razed by fire this morning.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said 80 residents from 12 families were made homeless.
Six wooden homes were totally destroyed.
A Bomba spokesman said they received a distress call at around 7.15 am and despatched firefighters from the Miri Sentral, Lopeng and Lutong fire stations to the scene.
