KUCHING: The Greater Kuching Coordinated Development Agency (GKCDA) is organising a logo design and tagline creation competition for the agency.

The winner will receive a cash prize of RM2,500, while there will also be three consultation prizes of RM200.

According to Nur Juraniza Bujang, a spokesperson from the Serian Resident Office, the competition is organised by the GKCDA Unit and Serian Resident Office.

“The competition is open to Sarawakians, and registration is free.

“The closing date for submission is April 28, 5pm,” she told New Sarawak Tribune when contacted.

She added that the format of the logo and tagline creation should be in the form of png or jpg and must be sent to the competition secretariat at njuranizab@sarawak.gov.my

For the terms and conditions, all designs and taglines be the entrant’s original ideas; logo and tagline creation can be done by hand sketch or through digital method; the creation of the logo and tagline should be catchy and futuristic; the tagline must be written in two languages, namely Bahasa Melayu and English; the use of colours is limited to a combination of red, black and yellow only; and the description and rationale for the logo design and tagline, including colours, should be provided and reflect the corporate image, establishment objectives, jurisdiction and direction of GKCDA.

The logo and tagline once received will be the full property of GKCDA and the agency can make amendment or modification if necessary.

Submission of the logo and tagline creation must also include the competition entry form.
