MIRI: An octogenarian yesterday morning was shocked to notice a half meter long Cobra while arranging sheets in his bedroom at Jalan Bakam here.
The man just woke up that morning when he heard hissing sound underneath the bed.
Curious, he tried to peek underneath the bed, and was shocked to see the venomous snake.
Wasting no time, he immediately grabbed his phone and called up Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) for help.
Upon responding to the alert call, four APM personnel were sent to the house.
They managed to remove the snake from the house in less than 20 minutes and it was eventually released back to its natural habitat in the wild.
