KUCHING: Family members in Rumah Robin longhouse, Tutong Island, Ulu Sikat Mukah are asking public help to locate 37-year-old Jeddy Jeamat who has been missing since May 22 this year.

According to his sister Emily Jeamat, the whole family members are praying and hoping that Jeddy will come to the longhouse this Christmas season before the new year arrives.

“We really miss glimpses of Jeddy who likes to joke and is very patient,” Emily said.

The police at the Mukah District Police Headquarters, through the Mukah district police chief DSP Muhamad Rizal Alias when contacted, also asked for the public’s help in finding Jeddy. Those who have the information are asked to contact the Investigating Officer Abdul Rahman Maerrad at 013-8029577 or IPD Mukah control centre.

Emily told Suara Sarawak yesterday that Jeddy, with tanned skin, thin body and short hair, was said to be wearing a long-sleeved black T-shirt when he disappeared.

She added that her brother Jeddy couldn’t have walked far from their place of residence because on the day Jeddy disappeared he didn’t bring any important documents such as Mykad and pocket money.

“Jeddy’s motorcycle was found last May 24 (two days after the disappearance). All of Jeddy’s important documents are still at home.

“Therefore, I represent the family members asking for help from PDRM, Fire and Rescue and JPAM to help track or find Jeddy.” Emily added.

Anyone who comes across or finds Jeddy can contact Emily Jeamat at 013-5702032.
