SELANGAU: The fire victims of Rh Jungan, Mile 36 received another financial assistance amounting to RM283,299.

Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) reported that Deputy Minister of Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development (Community Wellbeing Development) Razi Sitam was present to hand over the cash assistance to the victims at Selangau District Office recently.

Meanwhile, other forms of aid were also distributed such as basic food necessities amounting to RM11,500, bottled milk aid, pampers and sanitary napkins worth RM5,299 as well as bedroom facilities and kitchen equipment worth RM40,300.

Among those present were Tamin assemblyman Christopher Gira Sambang, political secretary to Premier Edwin Banta and others.
