KUCHING: Over 1,000 guests attended a grand wedding reception of two doctors at Pullman Hotel here on Yesterday (Aug 21).
Dr Nurul Hazieqah Dr Hazland, the eldest daughter of Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Sustainability, Dr Hazland Abang Hipni, married
Dr Luqman Hakim Rozlan.
The occasion was made all the more merrier with the attendance of Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and his wife, Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang.
Also in attendance were Deputy Premiers, Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas and Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian.
The Premier and his wife were greeted on arrival by Dr Hazland and his wife, Dayang Halimah Abang Paul.
At the reception, Abang Johari and his wife were invited to participate in the traditional ‘merenjis tepung tawar’ ceremony to bless the newlyweds.
Also invited to do likewise were State Assembly Legislative (DUN) Speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar and former Tanjong Datu assemblywoman Datuk Amar Jamilah Anu.
