KUCHING: Twelve teams are in the Kuching Zone Veterans League, which is from July 22-24 at Padang Sumber Alam here.
Organising chairman Abdul Muhtalip Tegak said the teams in Group A would be X Monta FC, Rajuma FC and BNG FC.
“CGU FC, EX-SPT FC and BAKO FC are in Group B while Buntal FC, V-Foss FC and SAS FC are in Group C. Gasag FC, LT FC and Abok 81 FC make up Group D.
“The teams will play each other in a group league format with the best two from each group qualifying for the quarter-finals,” he told Arena Suara Sarawak.
He added that the prizes would be in the form of cash, trophies and medals.
Abdul Muhtalip explained that the competition was an excellent platform for the players to display their skills, and network.
