KUCHING: Kuching City FC (KCFC) head coach Irfan Bakti Abu Salim says they will not be worrying too much about their opponents as the FA Cup enters the knockout stage.

“It doesn’t matter who we meet. At this stage of the competition, anything can happen. We’re just going to stick with our gameplay and take one game at a time,” the former national team gaffer told Arena Suara Sarawak.

He added that the City Boys — who play in the Premier League — were fine with being the underdogs, and that it was very much anyone’s game in the quarter-finals.

Their opponents could be either Terengganu or Kedah. Both are teams in the top-tier Super League.

Irfan said he would be using the available time to streamline the squad in anticipation of their next opponents.
