KUCHING: An Info On Wheel (IOW) programme was held for the benefit of villagers at Kampung Lidah Tanah, yesterday (April 24)

Batu Kitang assemblyman Lo Khere Chiang who officiated at the programme said
it was organised by the Information Department (JaPen) in the village to help disseminate information on government policies.

“This programme is very important because the government through JaPen can disseminate information on government policies at the grassroots level.

“It is also hoped that the programme will increase the support and trust of the people towards the government’s administration and efforts,” said Lo.

At the same ceremony, Lo also distributed bubur lambuk to 120 families who attended the ceremony.

Also present were JaPEn Kuching district officer Magdellina Alfred Jeho, Komuniti Keluarga Malaysia Datuk Patinggi Ali chairman Abdul Aziz Abdullah, Masjid Nurul Ashikin Kampung Lidah Tanah chairman Baki Leh and former Kampung Lidah Tanah village chief Hamzah Bujang.
