KUCHING: Puncak Borneo MP Datuk Willie Mongin continues to help Puncak Borneo folk, this time, presenting a cheque for RM20,000 to Kg Sapit Youth Bureau.
The money is to be used to build public toilets and upgrade the tourist attractions in the village.
He also approved an allocation amounting to RM20,000 to build a new road leading to ‘Kupuo Tebawang’ Kg Sapit, and RM10,000 to upgrade Rumah Membuat Parang.
Also present at the ceremony were Penghulu Peter Angom, Sapit village chief Yuyuh Gumi, Biya Kamas village chief Dorong Kabut, Kiding village chief Boniface Tewek Nyosor, Sapit village youth bureau advisor Jessing Awos, Sapit village women’s bureau head Julia Ridang and village folk.
