SPAOH: H Cromo FT of Bintulu proved their superiority by winning the Spaoh Futsal Tournament 2017 Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Cup for the Men’s category which took place in Futsal Court in Pekan Spaoh here on last Sunday.
H Cromo FT defeated KSRLL A Debak in the final with 2-1 to emerge as the champion.
H Cromo FT managed to take home a cash prize of RM4,000, a trophy and medals while runners-up KSRLL A Debak brought home a cash prize of RM2,000, a trophy and medals.
Joint third Last Plan of Maludam and Aspa81 FT of Sarikei each took home a cash prize of RM1,000 and a trophy.
For the Women’s category, Mixture FT of Bintulu edged KSR D’Syco of Sibu with a 1-0 in the final to emerge as champion.
Mixture FT received a cash prize of RM2,000, a trophy and medals while KSR D’Syco took home a cash prize of RM1,000, a trophy and medals.
Meanwhile, KFPJ Tibak Baok and MUS FC KV Betong each took home a cash prize of RM750 for finishing joint third.
A total of 48 men’s teams and 15 women’s teams throughout the state participated in the two-day tournament .
All prizes were presented by JASA Betong Officer Tony Malang who represented Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Empas.
