KUCHING: Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Youth leaders have called on all SUPP Kuching Branch’s members to work together and focus on the task at hand to wrest back the Padungan state seat.

It also reiterated in its statement on Monday (Nov 29) that winning back the support of the voters in the upcoming state election should be the top priority at this point in time.

“Although SUPP failed to secure Padungan state constituency in the last three consecutive state elections, SUPP Kuching had continued to tirelessly serve the constituents.

“It is observed that with the Covid-19 pandemic having adversely impacted the country’s economy and also the livelihood of many people, the health issues and the revival of the post-pandemic economy are now of utmost importance to everyone.

“Hence, there is a necessity to do away with the political sweet-talkers full of empty promises, and choose the aspirants who can walk the talk and bring real change,” the statement added.
