KUCHING: The students quarantined at SMK Tabuan Jaya received food aid from Kuching South City Council (MBKS).

Its Mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng together with Zone 4 chairman Cr Iskandar Sharkawi and Tay Motor Sdn Bhd managing director Aaron Tay handed over food aids to the school’s teacher Azmi Seruji,  acting as representative today (April 30) at the school compound.

“I hope that the food aid could ease the burden of the school and that the food supplies can supplement the three meals per day intake,” Wee said.

The food aid consists of instant noodles, canned drinks, biscuits, 3 in 1 instant drinks and snacks.

Besides the food aid, MBKS also handed over face masks and sanitiser which are to be distributed to the students.

“During this pandemic, MBKS will assist within our capabilities to ensure the residents in Kuching South being well taken care of,” Wee said, adding that the school may contact the council if they needed further assistance.
