MUKAH: Some 200 runners had confirmed participation in the Tellian Fun Run 2017, to be held at the football field of Kampung Tellian Tengah, here on Dec 9. The run is divided into two categories. For Category A, it is a 5km run opened to students, adults and veterans while for Category B, it is a 10km open run for men and a 7km open run for women.
For Category A, it is subdivided into three sections – students, adults and veterans. The top three winners in each section will receive hampers. For Category B, the champions from each section will receive a cash prize of RM500, the first runners- up will receive RM300 each while the second runners-up, RM200 each.
T e l l i a n A s s e m b l y m a n Yussibnosh Balo is expected to flag off the run. Meanwhile, the entrance fee is RM40 for all sections in Category A while for Category B, it is RM45 for women and RM50 for men. Themed ‘Run For Your Health’, the run will commence at 7am. There will also be attractive prizes for lucky draws.
