BINTANGOR: A search and rescue (SAR) operation is underway to locate an elderly man identified as Pat Sai Kong, 78, reported missing at a farm near Sungai Sian since Dec 31.
The State Fire Department operations centre said they received a distress call from Bintangor police around 5pm last Friday.
Bintangor firemen started their search at 10am today, covering an area of a 1km radius from where Pat was said to be missing.
The search involved Bintangor police, Rela and villagers.
