MUKAH: Dreamer emerged as champion of Mukah Closed Basketball 3on3 competition Saberkas Cup held here on Sunday (Dec 5).

The team took home RM500 and a trophy while each of the members was awarded with a medal and certificate each.

First runners-up Mamba and second runners-up Phoenix respectively received RM400 and RM300 plus a trophy each while every team member received a medal and certificate each.

Kampung Pinang was in fourth place and bagged RM200, trophy, medals and certificates, while Tan Kah Seng from Dreamer was announced as the best player and took home RM50 plus trophy.

Sarawak Saberkas executive committee (exco) member Royston Valentine officiated at the close of the competition.

A total of eight teams took part in the competition, which was organised by Saberkas Mukah town unit and Mukah Unique Sports Recreation Club.

Mukah Division Youth and Sports officer Mahadir Darahi, Sarawak Saberkas exco member Tarmizi Karnain; Saberkas Mukah town unit chairman Penghulu Henry Lee Liong Ing; Kapitan Kang Boon Eong and Ting Siew Leong as well as organising chairman Tan Tze Yong were among those present.
